Meet Cynthia

Cynthia is a native of La Jolla, a graduate of La Jolla High, and an alumna of UCLA.  She began event planning through non-profit work in her early 20's, planning conferences and both national and international philanthropic projects.  In her late 20's, she took a position at the Hyatt Regency in La Jolla as Catering Manager and continued to develop her event planning skills.  Then in March 2006, Cynthia launched CZ Events.  Cynthia sees each event as one that involves a community of creative people.  She excels in bringing together the expertise of various vendors and has worked hard to find those that she believes are the very best in the industry. To work with Cynthia means to benefit from the relationships she has built.  She is also know for her high level of organization, fun personality, and design skills.  Cynthia loves to work with color, finding fresh combinations, and taking the  majority of her inspiration from fashion and the runway.

But why weddings?  Cynthia loves to be part of a family's most memorable occasions.  She loves to plan and create and then step back and watch the joy on the faces gathered.  Wedding celebrations are one of the most unifying parts of humanity.  Every culture and religion celebrate weddings and she feels connected to what is most important in life when she creates the wonderful occasions that are part of each family's story.  She hopes to create your wonderful occasion for you.
