Associate Coordinator, Kimberly Chebegia joined CZ Events in 2009 based on the increased demand from brides looking for night and weekend meeting options. Kimberly is a native San Diegan, and a graduate of California State University Long Beach where she studied fashion.
Kimberly quickly discovered her love of event planning right out of college while orchestrating events within the fashion world that included everything from editor luncheons to press functions, collection launches, conferences and fashion and trade shows. With her extensive background in corporate event planning, Kimberly has transferred her skills to the more intimate setting of wedding planning. Her philosophy is simple: be professional yet fun. Be creative but maintain organization. Be compassionate and down to earth while staying focused on executing a flawless event. Kimberly is brimming with fun details and ideas, and is excited to help your day become a reality. Design is her forte, but she is also well equipped to handle any logistic hurdle that may come up along the way. Her attention to detail is impeccable, and her calm nature makes her a strong backbone for any event to run smoothly.
Meet Alicia
Associate Coordinator, Alicia Thorne, joined the CZ Events team in the summer of 2010. Since then, she has handled an amazing range of weddings and has become an integral part of the CZ Events team.
Alicia is a highly organized, detail oriented person with a passion for creating and orchestrating beautiful weddings. She earned her degree in Communication and Business at the University of Arizona in 2007 and began her career doing corporate event and meeting planning in a high end hotel in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, her hometown. Loving the planning aspect, but not feeling that the industry offered enough creative freedom she moved to San Diego to pursue wedding planning. Alicia has worked with many of San Diego’s top wedding professionals giving her a broad perspective of the industry as a whole. Her creativity paired with her positive attitude and strong customer service skills make Alicia a valuable coordinator.
Meet Chantelle
Associate Coordinator, Chantelle McMillan, joined the CZ Events team in the spring of 2012 to work with couples looking to book month-of and day-of coordination.
Chantelle first fell in love with weddings while working as an intern at the Hilton El Conquistador Hotel and Resort in Tucson, AZ. In her quest to hone her skills as an professional wedding coordinator, Chantelle has worked with bridal salons, wedding venues, bridal shows, and many wedding vendors. These associations have given her invaluable experience. Chantelle is a graduate of the University of Arizona with degrees in Marketing and Corporate Entrepreneurship. She has a keen sense of style and design and is very creative! Chantelle has the knowledge, experience, and skills needed to coordinate a wide range of events from more intimate setting to extravagant and over the top! Chantelle is also a bright light in any room and a wonderful person to be around!
Meet Araceli
As my assistant, Araceli Garcia, joined the CZ Events team in the Fall of 2007, during her junior year of high school. Araceli is currently studying for her degree in Business Administration.
Araceli, having fallen in love with wedding planning at such a young age, was eager to gain experience in the industry. Starting off as only an intern, Araceli soon gained a higher roll as my personal assistant. And now we are offering Araceli as a personal assistant to the bride on her wedding day. For the bride who wants more attention or for the bride on a very small budget, Araceli can assist with a list of pre-determined day of items such as assisting the bride with dressing, distributing personal flowers, setting place cards, and attending to the gifts. While this option does not include the full coordination aspect of managing vendors, hiring Araceli would be a wonderful addition to your wedding day! And Araceli's sunny personality makes her a joy to have
around!
